Es ist angerichtet! Das Hellfest in Clisson, Frankreich protzt dieses Jahr mit einem Lineup, dass jedem Metalhead die Biereinfüllöffnung runterklappen lässt. Das ganze jedoch mit einem kleinen Manko: Durch den bedauerlichen Krankheitsfall von Tomy Iommi treten statt den legendären BLACK SABBATH jetzt "nur" OZZY OSBOURNE AND FRIENDS auf.

Dies könnte sich durch eine wünschenswerte genesung von Iommi jedoch noch ändern. Ob mit oder ohne BLACK SABBATH, MEDICINE ist für euch mit dabei wenn sich in Frankreich das Who-is-who der Metalszene die Klinke in die Hand gibt. Mit stolzen 149 € und einer entprechend langen Anreise ist das Hellfest für viele ein wohl ziemlich teurer Spaß, der jedoch durch ein absolut erstaunliches Lineup wieder wett gemacht wird. Und ein echter Fan lässt sich von solchen Lapalien ja wohl nicht aufhalten. Es gibt auch Tageskarten für jeweils 66€, doch wer schon die lange Reise wagt wird wohl mit einem 3-Tages-Ticket besser bedient sein.

Das Tuska Festival dürfte das bekannteste Metal Festival Finnlands sein. Auch wenn es nicht mehr zentral im Kaisaniemi Park gelegen ist, sondern mittlerweile etwas außerhalb in Suvilahti stattfindet, hat das Festival den Umzug auf das neue Gelände im letzten Jahr gut überstanden und erfreut sich nach wie vor ungebrochener Beliebtheit. In diesem Jahr hat man wieder ein tolles Line-Up zusammengestellt, bei dem so ziemlich Jeder auf seine Kosten kommen sollte. So werden dort unter anderem MEGADETH, MINISTRY und APOCALYPTICA den Zuschauern einheizen, aber auch Fans von BEHEMOTH und HATEBREED dürfen sich freuen.

The Arockalypse is near. At least thats what the Maya say. So of course we could spend out time weeping and crying and praying to god and other useless stuff(if there is a god, than there is no need to tell him about the apocalypse, cause he already knows...). But instead we want to make this year the most succesful in MEDICINE-history.
